Help, Coolant leaking

This morning i put on my hahn header, downpipe and cat back. i started the car and let it idle and there was coolant leaking. i turned off the car and looked and right underneath the header there is a bar that has a saab sticker that is leaking coolant on the side. the header is barely barely touching this pipe and isnt applying any pressure. what do i do to stop it from leaking?

this exact same problem happened to me. I had the same header you did and my pipe leaked, I sent mine back to hahn. There is nothing you can do about it except move that pipe down so the header clears it. Its a water pump pipe not a coolant pipe so im told. If you call hahn they will tell you to loosen the coolant pipe and rotate it downwards so it clears the header.

the water pump pumps the coolant, so actually it's both. just fyi. not criticizing, just so people don't get confused.

to the OP, hows the hahn sound?

i have the Hahn 3" dp and Hahn 3" cat-back, and it sounds great, I'm happy with it. Best sounding cobalt exhaust IMO. I've heard alot of others and I cringe when I hear other exhausts.

yeah, that's what's keeping me from an exhaust, is the sound of a 4 banger, it's never very good, regardless of the quality.

well to be honest with you, your not gonna get away from the 4-banger sound, thats a given. But if you want a deep sounding exhaust, you can't go wrong with the Hahn 3" Cat-back. If I have time this week I'll do some drive-bys when I get my car back from the dealor, Watch for my thread. Hahn Exhaust Drive-by's i'll call it, or something liek that.

Just don;t buy their header, I put the stock header back on, I'm gonna get the extrude-honed header from GM soon.

as far as I know you loosen it just enough to turn it, yes coolant will leak out, thats a given, don't take it off completely.
