ok. so i'm FINALLY getting my balt in two weeks. anyways. i have all the parts im putting on it. they consist of a 2.8, 60lbers, CA heat Exchanger, smaller belt, And hpt tune. i also want to put a 50 shot of nitrous. now my question is if i were somehow to blow my motor, and i wanted to build my motor is there more tuning needed if i go with forged pistons and all that other good strong engine stuff. and if i were to build the motor would it still be able to be a DD??? sorry this is such a stupid question but i don't know crap about motors. thanks guys. hopefully this makes sense. mike

 

Well if you keep everything the same except stronger (ie forged) then you won't need any additional tuning. Start changing cams, compression, head etc then you will need tuning. Also a stronger engine will have the same characteristics as a stocker if the above is the same.
