Question Help Gauge Install

ok.... question for you people.. i just order my 3 gauge pillar for my SS. now i wanna keep my stock boost gauge.... and was think of going with areo gauge... what else do you recommend getting? or over all, what 3 gauges do yous recommend? Plus, how do i install all 3? i went through the how to, but i saw nothing with a 3 gauge pillar and 3 gauge install.
also, i order a 2.79 pulley. i already have the gm stage 2, but wanted little more boost without having to replace injectors. will i need to replace the gasket after pulling supercharger off, or can i reuse the original one?

Umm... Not sure about the gauges but You don't have to pull the blower off for the 2.79.

installing the three guagge pillar is easy as a $5 hooker! you just unscrew the screw that holds the top of the existing pillar on (it's behind the circular plug at the top of the pillar) and pull. then you unplug the connector thaat connects the factory boost guage and VOILA it's out. now you unscrew the two bolts that hold it to the factory pillar and pull it out and push it into the new pillar. you probably can't bolt it into the new pillar but that's ok it will stay put. and then just install your other guages and you're done. i used the red wire on the factory boost guage for power to my other two guages and it works great. just reverse the steps to put it back in. it takes some patience putting th pillar back on but just be careful and take your time and it will go back in. let me know if you want pics of what mine looks like when finished and i'll post them. PM me if you have any other questions and i'll help ya out.

Did you piggyback power for the Interceptor from the OEM gauge? I find that the AEM gauge draws a lot more power than the Aeroforce gauge. I have the Aeroforce gauge in it's own line via an "Add a Circuit" line to the fusebox. Looks like the guys that installed my AEM AFR gauge used the same wire and now the Aeroforce gauge dims when both gauges are on. I unplugged the AEM gauge and the Interceptor lights up bright. Looks like I need to find another power source for either the Interceptor or the AEM.

I dident piggyback any of them....both the intercepter and UEGO have there own power suply i taped from the fuse box.

that way i dont have to worry about them not geting proper power or blowing a fuse...

You can reuse the supercharger gasket if it's not damaged when you remove the supercharger. However if you already have a hub on there you don't need to remove the supercharger to swap out the pulley.

so i just loosen up the tensioner and slip the belt off and swap pulleys?

i went with the 3 gauge pillar from CA. now i was browsing CA site, they have the interceptor, and the dual interceptor. now whats the difference? i think i'm going interceptor and and AFR. should i go with a wide band AFR?

ps.. thanks for the pics guy. they look great. helped out alot in my decision!

i'd go single intercepter with a wideband 02....lol well i did and it works great!!!

if your going to get a AFR gauge then go with a wideband....narrow band is totaly useless.

Dual interceptor is 2 physical gauges allowing you to see 4 peices of info at once. It comes with a splitter for the OBD2 port as well.
