Help me spend some money
why are you going with a 2.5 pulley/60lb injectors setup, thats so last year, not to mention unrelaible. If you want power, turbo it, if you want something quick, keep what you got, spray a 50 shot and replace the pistons when they break
If you want 400 whp, its gonna cost A LOT more than $1500. Your lookin at a build like I'm doing, maximum head porting, retarded cams, forged pistons, billet rods, ultra light weight crank (should be 12-15 lbs when done), and many others, and its barley gonna be streetable (1800 rpm idle, 12 mpg ect.). If your lookin for a cheap 400 whp (if it exists) I'd say, new pistons 9:1 comp, GT30ish sized turbo, debadge the supercharged badges (otherwise the car will suddenly explode from trying to reject the gayness of the turbo
), some mild cams, maybe a port job, and you should be there... but you'd have a turbo so it would be a gay 400 whp
Thanks victory, for being the only one that has really said anything intelligent, if i wanted a v8 i would by one tommorow, however, i have a 1950 chevy pickup that i am going to drop a twin turbo 350 in, so i dont want another v8, i like my car, i just want it to be more powerful.... maybe 400 is a shot in the dark, but if whitfield racing can get some 1200hp or whatever out of a 2.0, then i think it is attainable, with a little time, and a little money that im willing to spend.....
