help! SS isnt running

I'm in a heap of **** right now, not sure what to do. Had a custom 3" header and exhaust installed about two weeks ago. Was running fine for a few days until i got a CEL (O2 bank 1) still running fine. Then the car decided to go into limp mode and cut the power. Fine rest the computer. The CEL would come back and limp again. Had it hooked up to a diagnostic computer for a test drive and found bank 1 was running lean (negative readings). The car was running fine all tyesterday until at night when it limped again. ita hasnt reset since and now will bairley idle. What r my options? Hp tuners?

where the car tells you the temp, did it say something about a power loss?

ok well usually when people change the oil on the ss/sc's they have to on hook some stuff to get to the filter and what not, so I guarntee that there is something unhooked in your engine bay somewhere, and you just have to find it, go out and look around and feel every wire and make sure everything is connected, because i am sure that is the problem. This also happened to me when my cars iol was changed the first time. I do it myself now lol, but it shouldn't be anything too big to worry about ma, just check out ur engine bay, and let me kno

because if something important is unhooked that it can cause other things to mess up, so u need to find the source and fix it there then see if there are any other problems. but start looking in the engine bay wires

well, did your o2 sensor get messed with during the install? they could have hurt it possibly. do you have any hoses off on your intake or lose connections? that would run air past the MAF and throw a lean code.

i know what a t.p.s. is. I jus thought that it was the o2 that set it off since that was the first code i got. The o2 is stil getting a reading its jus fluctuating between .08 and negative decimals. I'm thinking because the exhaust is too large. please tell me im wrong\

anyone?

did you check for exhaust leak? I don't think the o2 sensor cares about diameter, i was running mine off of a primary pipe on my weapon-r (which is 1 3/4") and changed it to the collector which is 2.5". I found no difference

4.7 is NOT enough oil mine takes over 6 L to be full

you do not need to unhook anything to get at the oil filter if you have the right tools

6 quarts = 5.7 liters.

if you put that much in its not enough...at least on my car.
