When I shift from 1st to 2nd my trans sometimes makes a electronic grind noise. I maybe thought i wasnt pushing my clutch in all the way but it does it when i have the clutch push to the floor.....is anyone else having this problem??

 

I'm not sure if the crunching is the transmission on my LS or not, but I find going from 1st to 2nd is incredibly tight and sometimes makes more noise than I'd like to hear when shifting into second gear. It's not quite a grind and it's not quite a crunch it's hard to explain...I'm temporarily blaming it on the car being new but am going to have the dealership look at it soon if it pesists.

Sounds like the shifter needs to be adjusted.

 

down shifting? wear the clutch a lil bit may go away if nto get it fixed before they start blaming you for stuff!

 

I would make an appt. to have it fixed but when i took it to the dealership to have them replace my 2 rims and an emblem i had the service guy ride with me and it didnt make the noise when he was in the car, of course so i looked like a complete retard.

Anyway...is anyone having a problem with their sunroof visor, it only happens after its been sitting in the sun for a while. i guess the sun heats up the adhesive to one of the foam pieces on top of the visor and when i shut the visor the foam sticks to the glass of my sunroof.

 

If the shifter linkages are even slightly mis-adjusted it may cause that noise once and awhile.

 

i'm having trouble on my third gear consistantly. when i shift above 4k rpm i miss third almost everytime. it doesn't grind at all, it just blocks me from even hitting third. if it continues in a few weeks, that will be my first service call
