Ok, I have to say that intake manifold is not too bad for a first try. Considering the space available on the LD9 (I had a GM supercharged Z24 myself so I understand).

The LSJ has a bit more room up front so I could see something just a bit better for it. I would not knock air to air because it I see potential with that as well. Only if I had a TIG welder....

How much of a gain can we see from a air to water build?

Take this intercooler

Use this paint drawing I made, and this should all fit in the area below the blower on the LSJ. I would suggest using a 4-1 setup that flows into pipe for the bottom like a turbo manifold. (Oops I forgot to add the bypass tube, but you can get the jist of what I am aiming for here)

Definitely finish up the customers car first. That should obviously be a priority. Then when it comes time for our hotness, something badass like what I drew up real quick is going to be needed.

Anyone else notice they did away with the bottom supporting bolt that the OEM manifold has on the underside of it? I'm thinking that could be an issue?

They haven't made an LSJ manifold yet.

The idea is there, based off of drawing I made. If only someone would just do it.

I still think a good manifold is needed so we can dump these laminovas and go BIG with an air to water setup. Hopefully one is in the works by someone else?

The one referenced in this thread still looks to restrictive and wouldn't suplly very even flow to all 4 cylinders. We need to keep that in mind as well. Runner length and flow.

if you are staying supercharged just go tvs e85 ported head etc etc u'll find that the stock intake manifold is good for quite a decent amount of powa

The intake manifold can indeed flow a good amount of air, it's really about better cooling of the air that most people are concerned about.
