The 2.8 is tooo small for the S2 tune... to run a 2.8 you need a good tune, exhaust, and meth! PM Area47 that is his setup!

I'm on the ***** out retarted mode running a 2.85 without meth!

what else would i need for a 2.7 pulley? other than 60# injectors.
Besides the bolt ons? I still would say get the heat exchanger. Its cheap and easy to do.

Get the tranny mounts. You will fall in love. You may not like the vibes for the fist couple hundred miles though haha.

WoW... I'm not even going to go anymore in here....

I'll tell you what one of the better tuners on this site is my friend... and I'll go by what he says! And if he believes meth is needed for a 2.8 than I will believe it!

You guys can do what you want..... But the 2.8 is the lowest I would go...

You dont need meth for a 2.8. I would say its needed for a 2.6 or 2.5.

agreed, it would benefit you greatly with cooling but not needed for bigger pulleys

The ingalls is nice for a band aid , but the mount's are the way to go if your going to be at the strip every week . That said ... i have an ingalls because when i get annoyed of the vibes or am going to be on a trip i can pop it off in 5 minutes and be back to quiet .

Or you can get them from INTENSE-RACING.com - Those are the ones that I use. Shop around for the best price... because no matter where you get them from... they will probably all be about the same quality and work equally the same.

Not needed. I run a 2.8 on stage 2, and have for over a year. Car pulls nice, and holds a little extra power as well.

So if the pistons are good for 300hp, what is the rest of the internals good for?

And also, as someone stated earlier, to be on the safe side, stay in the 260-275whp range, what kind of times can one expect with those hp numbers?
