Highest whp without meth?

I was just wondering how far you can take the LSJ without meth, Let say just having a ZZP S3 H/E and the dual pass endplate thing, with the stock SC how much can I expect? I'd be fully content with my car at 275whp but that seems like ridiculously high hopes

I think people have put down somewhere in the 290ish to 300whp range on the stock m62, bolt ons ofcourse

I can't tell you what it was with (e85) etc but that's what I saw in a thread a little while ago

The people that have gotten those numbers have a really really good tune and probably a 2.7 or 2.6

e85 isn't really an option till done delivering pizzas for dominoes , is there some site I can use to search for local stations with it? I can't say I've seen any around be, not advertised atleast

sounds like it was probably on e85, I saw a guy on here w/ a 2.6" pulley,bolt ons,and e85 and made 280whp still needed a few other mods to get to 300.

Haha I'd hope you were way over 250 >.< I i'd be happy with anything between 230-240 with my intake and GMSII assuming the "36" horsepower from the stage kit is whp not bhp

if your gonna run pump gas make sure your on 93 if your not going e85 or meth.
theres only 91 around here and we were pinging pretty bad at the top end after my build. if it wasnt for the octane issue id clear 300.
but ive got ported and polished everything with full 3 inch intake and exhaust, along with some other stuff too.

275whp with what you have is very high hopes, off meth I don't see the average lsj breaking 260whp.

Yep 260 is about as high as most people will get on just premium. On e85 or meth that number will raise pretty significantly. Ebristol put down 303whp on a 2.6 on e85 with supporting mods. On my M62 on a 2.7 and e85 my car pulled WAY harder than my 2.8 on pump gas and even a bit harder than my 2.7/meth setup.

E is def where its at, but not being readily available is a bummer, closest station to me is monroeville 15 mins away and that's it, and what about long trips? Im only suppose to travel on the route with E stations? F that

I agree with this as well.

The closest E85 station to me is 1.5 hours away. The closest station with Sunoco 260GT100 is 45 mins. It's just not fair !!

there are only 3 stations here in utah....luckily one is on my way to work...im thinking of running e85 and if im going on a trip then have a second tune available for pump gas

also i have been meaning to ask but what about running e85 and meth...meth only being used for coolin the charger and manifold?

Dunno, haven't dynoed it, numbers means very little to me, its quick but I want fast, and im not gonna get that with this car without alot more money into it. Im gonna dyno it eventually, best guess right now is 285whp on 21* of timing and an 11.5 afr. With a 2.6 ring you have to run 93 with methanol to see any gains worth mentioning.

Its true meth is very corrosive to the teflon coating on the rotors, that's why I spray mine post blower
