Home made option b tank?

Me being the cheap bastard I am, I think I am going to try to rig together my own option b kit as opposed to buying one for 100 bucks, which seems a bit steep to me. Has anyone else done this? How did it turn out and what did you use?

Pretty sure if you search you will find something but I believe most of them are using the windshield reserviour from a Saturn and piecing together their own hoses and fittings.

i used a coolant overflow tank (any autoparts store) and steel 3/4 threaded hose adapters and a GOOD epoxy to atempt to seal.

I'm trying to find out where I can buy all the parts for this tank. Can I get most of them from any hardware store like Lowes?

This is what I did. But I used blue silicone to seal the fitting
