Hopefully new to a ss/sc
honestly i have the injen and i like it..but i had the airbox mod first...and if u leave the box around it and take off the bottom plate its much louder then any of these intakes(it echos inside the box) and i didnt see much difference in power after going from the mod to the injen..it just looks better under the hood i guess.
oh from turbo tech i mentioned about the rubbing when i got the injen intake...they sent some rubber stripping that went perfect around the hole and i belive there doin that for now on.

ok what would you think a SS/SC would put to the wheels with these mods?
Stage 2
GMPP Exhaust Manifold
3" downpipe into a 2.5 out
GMPP Touring Exhaust
Stage 3 clutch and lightweight flywheel

Probably not much more honestly, But it will give you room to grow so to speak. The Gm catback is the same size as stock with a little bit better flowing muffler and is way over priced. And the GM header is just plain over priced and dosent flow as well as the others.
Also if your not worried about warranty go with the OTT stage 1 Linky and with it and the exhaust i showed in the 3'' model with the mods you listed and maybe a h/e i would guess you would be at 270 maybe 280 and probably be at the same or less amount of money as the parts you first said

Exactly, I have the injen and love it, But it is aluminum so it is getting holes rubbed in it. And it has been proven the Injen makes the most power, BUT i think that was before any of the stainless/3'' intakes where out

well my friend has a 03 eclipse and is putting a turbo on it. I just want to shut him up because all i hear is dude its just a cobalt and basically talks down on us. I want enough to shut him up. my goal is 260-270 for now.
Ok then i would recommend getting the OTT stage 1.
If you can afford it get a h/e next to keep temps down.
that should put you about 260-270
Once again if you have the money, Get a full exhaust next. That would put your closer to a possible 280hp and pretty much as far as you can go on the stock blower without nitrous.
Also check out the stu cooling mod in the how to section.

Who would be the best bet to get it tuned by? I try PMing area47 but he never replies. Yea that custom collant tank won't be hard.
This is the specs on my buddys car 2.4L SOHC 147hp so to the wheels right now probably 128whp. He's getting i believe a stock evo turbo put on

yeah stock motor only thing he'll have is the turbo i predict maybe 225-230 and he said a catback will give him 15 more hp. maybe a turbo back but not a catback
you'll definetly beat him with those mods, the stock eclipse gt's are slow... car guy, you said he'll hit 280 with the ottp stage 1 and the big heat exchnager, or come close to it,i was told that with the same mods, except a 2.5", progressive meth, and a dual pass endplate ill hit 280's max...
take off all the stuff that came with the car except the clutch and dp. sell the other parts and buy the OTTP Stage 1, get the ottp intake or injen, and go to a muffler shop and get a custom magnaflow 3" piping exhaust. and u'll be set for a while
