brought my 06 ss/sc to the dealer for the sending unit
got it back and whenever she hits about 4grand it starts to sputter and the rpms jump up and down, then she'll stall. now im an apprentace myself so i checked the codes and i got a lean bank code, random misfire and a cat efficiency code, SO ive been to the dealer about 4 times and they still havent been able to fix this problem.. im REALLY wondering if anyone knows what they did or whats gone on.. ive read up on injector cleaning because they get clogged but that didnt work.. theyve said that they fucked up but not replacing a seal in the pump/sending unit sooo whooo knows..

 

Try cleaning your TB! It might have alot of carbon build up in it, i threw those codes when i had that problem.

Do you have any mods and whats the mileage.

 

had the same problem,and it will continue to have problems till you find someone with an hpt to delete the lean p0171 code

call a lemon lawyer and lemon the car...thats ur best bet to do...make sure you have all the paper work and ull be fine

 

all ive done to the thing is a cold air.. ive had the car for 2 months.. it has 34000k on it but ive checked the flow of the cat and its fine.. not clogged, the dealer cant figure out whats wrong with it, so im hoping someones come across the same problem, i have scanned the car and cleared the codes but theyll just pop up once within a day or if you punch it below a 1/4 tank
