how accurate is the aeroforce intercepor
ok so i just installed the gauge and its kinda hard to figure it out! I dont know where to plug the 3 wires into to have the gauge come on and off during the turn of the key. put i use it by hooking it to the obd2 and it powers on but after i turn the car off it has to be unplugged then pluged back in to work again..... anywho so how accurate is this gauge?? i recorded the following
iat 2- 87-95 and iat 1 was around 40
1/4 mile- 14.01 @106
1/8 was 9.26----forgot to write the mph
0-60 was 5.93
boost was peaked at 13.7
my mods are a hks muffler, injen intake.
also some functions dont work like my gear postition always says 1st. how do u change this/??

2. You will find that over half of the paramaters don't work, they are just dead functions, the ones you really need aren't dead ones though. You will be able to tell which ones work correctly.
the parameters on the gauge will be 100% accurate, as its what the computer is getting from the sensors. yes some parameters are dead, the programing is designed for most gm vehicles, so you will have specific parameters for each vehicle, just like iat2 is just for the cobalts.
as for performance data, gotta be done without wheel spin or it wont be accurate.

well i did this about 4 times and each time i had a little wheel spin in 1st but i only gave it about 1/2 throttle..... i think i have a factory freak cuz i raced a buddy of mine with a ss/sc that has full exhaust and intake and dual pass and front mount h/e and a tune and i pulled about 2 cars on him from a 40 roll and held it all the way to 140 ish. about 3 times in a row.
it has to be done without spin because it uses the vehicles speed sensor to calculate when you have gone 1/4 mile (or 1/8). you could spin on 0-60 times, as its not trying to calculate distance, just time.
iat2 depends on your iat1 and the temp outside, it should be anywhere from 20-50 degrees over the current temp while cruising. When the tb closes and not alot of air is going through they will rise, but should go right done once you start giving it some gas.
