ive heard they are pretty good, gains wise. the quality of the header is supposed to be excellent. plus, i think you keep the warranty if chevy installs.

My dealership that does my work has told me they will honor my warranty as long as I use the GMPP parts and they put them on. Plus the install cost on most stuff really isn't that bad so i figure if they will warranty it, why not?

My friend that works at a GM dealer, said that as long as you have it on a repair order there, then it will seen as if they installed it, that way I can put em in. But dont take my word on it. I am going to go with all GMPP because that way I know itll fit, look, and gain good.

WEll reality is that the gains arent as good as aftermarket for the most part. It really depends on waht u want... Personally, to keep you warranty, perfect fit, excellent quality, you wuold be crazy not to.

This again unless you want to keep your car moderatly modified. But then again, if you want to go all out, you shouldn't be here asking this question really!

Too bad GMPP doesn't make a downpipe. You can just see the restrictiveness by looking at that piece.

Thouth, I do believe that the C-A downpipe will fit right up to it.

I don't think the dealership shop will be able to tell by just looking on the ouside of it. The real work to it has been done on the inside tracts.

Aftermarket may get you more but you can't beat the GMPP fit and quality of the part.
Not to knock any of the aftermarket stuff its just the GMPP stuff is that much better.

Yeah quality is where gmpp shines

And my dealership only wants 2hours labour for the manifold and catback. I mean how much can 2h cost? to save the hassel and they make sure it all fit to perfection!

im going to go all gmpp (stage 2, cat-back, header)

what about the downpipe? gmpp needs to make one of those.

gmpp is my preference for fitment and performance, they engineered/designed/built our cars, they are the ones who know what it can handle and what performance parts to make for it

and the warranty i am paying for is nice!

For the price this car sells for, in my opinion we need to stay on the safe side= GMPP parts. Once the warranty is done..... let the party begin!! But until then GMPP(stage 2, Catback, Manifold) and CAI. Just be carefull of those water puddles with the CAI.

It looks EXACTLY the same as your stock Header... the only difference is on the inside... and once it gets all carboned up... it will be very very hard to tell. When i had mine installed... they called me to tell me the part I was putting on was exactly the same as the part they were taking off.

i ordered new gaskets... but you can use your old bolts... BUT I did break one pulling them out of the downpipe end... so it is good to have back ups (Bolts and Plans).
