How do you take off intake manifold?

I'm trying to install here dual pass end plate and from what I read; its pretty easy. But, I'm stuck here trying to get the intake manifold off. I already pull of 5 bolts and 2 hex nuts, also the bolt that holds the oil check line. I'm prying off the from any angle possible putting a flat screwdriver against the engine block but its coming out slowly and still very hard. I'm missing a bolt or something? How did you guys take it off? Thanks for the input.

you're missing a bolt. there are 8 that hold the intake manifold on. one is hiding pretty good behind the alternator

there is a bolt at the bottom left side of it if your facing the motor
15mm i think not sure, put your hand down the left side feel around and you'll get it, take the alternator off also to get it easier

Isn't there also supposed to be a support bracket bolted to the bottom of the intake manifold. i never ran one and the kit I installed didnt have one but the instructions mentioned it.

I take off sucessfully but to my suprise I found this:

Its oil inside the manifold and in the laminova cores also. This is way my intercooler coolant was milky white because it was mixing with oil. Where should I search first to see cracks or leaks. That yellow plastic I took a photo of, maybe is broken and that seems to carry oil.

whoa. Could that be from all the oil in your intake manifold just getting blown past the seal on the end plate and into the coolant? And what the heck are those to two pictures? inside the ports on the head?

It seems like everyone gets oil in there. I do too when I forget to empty my catch can and it starts siphoning oil in.

With the stock breather system you will always have oil in the intake manifold. Never seen that much on the cores though

So, with a oil catch this will be solved?
