How do you unplug the plug on the fuel rail???

1. Remove the coolant overflow pipe.
2. Relieve the fuel system pressure. Refer to Fuel Pressure Relief.
3. Use a back up wrench on the fuel rail and disconnect the fuel supply pipe.
4. Remove the fuel rail attaching studs. Important: Use care when removing the fuel rail assembly in order to prevent damage to the fuel injectors electrical connector terminals and spray tips.
5. Remove the fuel rail using the following procedure:
1. Pull the fuel rail back and upward to remove the fuel injectors from the cylinder head ports.
2. Rotate the fuel rail in order to position the injectors downward.
3. Remove the fuel rail.
4. Disconnect the fuel injector harness connectors
5. Remove the fuel injectors
Are you talking about the injector plugs?
No, the pic shows the rail coming up with the injectors. Plus I wouldn't want my injectors contacting the engine or being exposed stuff like dust, dirt and the elements. Its alot easier to remove the injectors if they come up with the rail.
YOU DO NOT NEED TO DISCONNECT THE HARNESS.... NUFF SAID PLS STFU.
Ive done it TWICE (installing 42s and putting it back to stock) without disconnecting the damn thing. it lifts WITH it.
i just hate misinformation and can just picture someone trying to get the harness off each injector while cursing that blue safety clip under the fuel rail at each harness point. Make your life easier, lift the thing, flip it over, and unclip with ease.
no, you do not need to disconnect the harness to simply change an injector....... but it just makes it easier to have the rail on a table in front of you instead of working off a valve cover where things can fall and get lost or damaged in an engine bay. Plus this guy sounds like he needs to remove his rail for some reason, so thats the info I gave him.
Take a breath buddy and count to 10, stop taking this stuff as an insult of some kind and bringing in all this drama

I've had to replace my injectors twice and I already broke a rail and I've removed it completely everytime. its just 2 more minutes of work and your chances of not losing or breaking anything goes up substantially.
no offence to you man, I see what your saying and I see how your method would work. Its just a chance you take when you cut corners. I'm an aircraft mechanic with the Canadian Air Force and i'm trained to think this way.

Just for the record, I didn't break the rail. I ment that I had one break on me already. But whatever, last time I help someone on this board, you give a bit of help and another member cuts you up because its not the way he does it.
