Ok guys I no there's other threads like this but Im gonna ask again...how do I get to around 340 horse in my 06 ss/sc I have:
Stock m62
Full zzp stage 3 kit
80s running E85
Snow pro meth kit
3in exhaust
Zzp header
Zzp downpipe

Now I haven't had this tuned yet ( dnt worry haven't been driving it) so I talked to the guy that's supposed to tune it n he says I'm only gonna get about 270 out if it..is this true I just feel like those are low numbers... The guy says he has tuned other cobalts and is an hp tuner... I was hoping to be at or above 300 with this set up..

Should be a ****hair higher than that with meth and e on an aggressive tune. To get over 300 is possible u do gotta build the motor some though its not rly gonna happen with boltons

I think if you wanted to stay supercharged and make over 300whp you'd need a TVS.

 

Yea n that's about another 2 grand n nowhere to go from there... I think my best bet is to build a turbo car....

Hahaha 340 on m62 hahahahaha sorry bro I'm berely hitting 300 with TVS, granted on a 3" pulley n no meth but just about every other supporting mod, and as stated above, after dropping to 2.6" pulley and adding meth there is no where to go, so I'm going turbo here soon

 

Wow man that just seems like it sucks after dropping that much money on a tvs n only to get that little gain it just seems like a waste of time

 

Not really I got the TVS super cheap off some ******* that thought he knew everything for like $700 brand new

I've got 80s in it, problem with e85 where I live there is only one pump in the whole city. But I'm really considering going 85 and buying it in 50 gallon barrels n keeping some in my garage

you do not need to build the engine

you should search read and educate yourself

there is plenty to go after a 2.6 you just need to man up and go there

the search button is your friend you should search and read

if you want to make over 300 hp easy on the 62 spray it 50 shot is worth around 65 hp can just the 62 put the lsj over 300 yes try some custom cams with a long power curve good fuel and a good tuner

if you want to make over 300 on the tvs drop the blower pulley (man up)

 

Ignore everyone... all you have to do... now listen carefully because its going to get complicated. All you need to do...

Never said I wasn't going to drop pulley size just stating that after 2.6 and adding meth to my setup there's not much I can do bolt on wise to squeeze more power out of it, I'd have to get headwork done and so on
