Intake mani: gains are debateable ehh
Valve springs: no gain besides rpm and the m62 goes out for lunch and never comes back about 6-65k iirc
Pistons: Higher compression honestly not sure on gains but I don't think its much..

The only way to make good power with an m62 if I were to do it is either add displacement or spray it

nitrous is far from a cop out and if you think that you need to grow up nitrous is cheapest power out there

True. Very true price per hp is unreal. But idk is it safe to use like whenever i want? I floor my car everyday, dude. Go through a gear or three. Been doing that for 2 years (35000 miles) with no tangible abuse issues and she has 66000 miles as she sits.

Idk about nitrous I'm with rice on this one, I want the power at my disposal, I think it would be a hassle refilling a bottle all that, I want my car to always have the power not for it to be dependent on nitrous.

Its not going to be easy or cheap to get an m62 car well over 300hp but there is a different and cheaper way but to each their own

See basically what you have to do is do what ZZP did lol. Build the hell out of the engine and just let the supercharger do a little work. Didn't ZZP do a 400hp m62 setup?

But that's my point the m62 can only do so much, so you would need more displacement to get a lot more out of her

I like the F&F movies just as much as anyone but some people need to grow the FK up and realize nitrous is no more dangerous than any other forced induction with the proper equipment, tune, and safety features.

You wouldn't throw a turbo on a car with no wg, bov, or tuning.

Everyone is just so freaked out about it because of those movies and every other ricer writing an essay on how his buddy's cousin's friend "fried their piston rings" with naawws...

It will NOT make your passenger floor board fly off.

true, true, definately not cheap, easy or something most people would do when of course its easier to turbo swap it, tvs it (not cheaper for tvs though lol) or n20 it.

What gain could you possibly get from porting the stock supercharger?

Stiegemeier Supercharger Porting-Pricing

This place does it for $445. Just wondering if it's worth it.

fbo with gmr cams. pump gas, meth, 2.7 pulley, 60's. i think. look in the cam comparison thread. it's not that got damn hard to find the information.
