How important is LSD

in the process of buying an SS, just curious, how important is LSD?
I dont plan on modding the hell out of my car. maybe just some basic mods, i/h/e .
Will i feel the difference with LSD? Has anyone launched one with lsd and one without.

How important is it.

If you ever try to accelerate out of any corner, you'll hate yourself for not having an LSD, especially with a car putting down this much power to the front wheels.

And it helps marginally for straight-line acceleration as well.

There are many good posts in this thread. Ultimately, it's what you want your car to do and not just because it's something to put in ur sig, it's if you find it as the next step in performance. If you never auto X or drag it's not that crucial IMO.

Can actually cause inexperienced drivers to lose control of their car on slick surfaces. Since both wheels would be spinning and unable to steer. Of course if they have traction control they would be ok.

Even if you plan on drag racing, it's not really necessary imo. I don't think it will improve drag times...think about it....our Quiafe doesn't create extra torque to the wheels it only transfers it to reduce understeer.
