Has anyone got a CEL with an injen intake cause i read and somepeople got CEl and i want the injen intake and i am nervous now HELP

 

I got it one time on the way the get my stage 2 installed. That was appx 3k kms. And of course nothing since.

 

yes ppl have had cel, however there is now a reflash that takes car of that and the idle issue

 

Same here but it was more than one time. After stage 2 it hasn't come back.

 

Ive never had a CEL with it.

 

great nowi dont know if i want to get an intake i got rid of a car with the celall the time i odnt want it on. i am going to see if gm has one

here is the thing you have to keep in mind. anyone on the site that gets a CEL with the intake is going to post about it immediately. ppl that have the intake without a CEL are not going to make a topic or post saying "i run an Injen CAI without a CEL... i just feel like bragging"

... u will see more 'problem' posts than 'no problem' posts.
i wouldnt be nervous, but then again, i live at almost 7,000ft elevation with my mods. edit: and i installed my corsa the day after my Injen CAI; hence that may change the results.

 

I've had my Injen in since May 2006, No CEL, however Im going back to stock as my fitment (rubbing) issues have almost worn a hole in my pipe

 

I installed my Injen almost 6,000 miles ago, and have yet to experience a CEL.

 

Why is this an issue if there is now a fix. As mentioned before GM has released a reflash for the idle and cel issue. Get the reflash and you shouldn't have a problem

 

I did not get one. I installed the short ram portion only.

 

some get it, some don't... if you're that worried about a CEL, then don't mod your car
