I can make any size pulley you would want, down to 2.7 that fits the GM stage 2 hub, or I offer a complete system that can support down to a 2.6 w/o snout machining or 2.3 with machining (not that anyone has gone that small, just that it's capable of it.)

sorry, thats Cobalt-addiction.com

my advice, get stage two from gm, and get a private shop to retune it (minor tweaks) other than that, enjoy the power this car puts out already

Gm stage 2 is all you need, everything can go from there, you can drop the pulley down to a 2.7 with the GM stage 2 hub with the Smoothflow pulleys which is as low as you should ever go on the stock blower anyway, the only thing in stage 3 worth buying is the dual pass endplate, for more power you can retune and swap to 60lb injectors, any exhaust ZZP 3 inch is nice (GMPP stuff is too small and conservative to my liking)

some of these companies are murder for your engine with these stage 5 kits, 2.5 pulley is way too damn small, crappy canned tunes that may not even work if you dont have a stock intake, how crazy is that?

that is what is fun about a public forum. We like to discuss, and we all don't have the same opinions. I just read your stupid ass comment, so stop wasting my time.

your right. spinning the supercharger a million times a minute has to do with the tune. Wow I going to come to you with all my questions.

The supercharger is still spinning without the boost being created right? So your Spinning the damn thing way past the eatons limits. Has nothing to do with the tune.

you know what the max sustained rpm is of our gen 5 don't you? You know the max instant it can hit to don't. You must also know that eaton test all there blowers for 500 hours to ensure the qaulity of the blower. yeah you know that right...

Everyone that intends on keeping an Eaton Supercharger on the car regardless of what size pulley should upgrade the heat exchanger, even being stock during the summer I would benefit GREATLY from a better one, crusing temps of 110-120 when its 90 out, idle it will shoot up to 160, certainly not where you want to be

I know they test them. They test them majority of the time for the production models, which they are warrantied for. now does eaton test their products with a 2.5. Probably. But they know what would be the ideal size of the blower pully for reliability and production purposes. A 2.5 might be in the +/- boundaries, but let me tell you it is not going to give your blower a long life span. Dumb? You sir are funny. You said "you obviously no nothing" No nothing. IM the stupid one?

its a disagreement, that's what keep these forums going

this argument is kinda childish, but anyway ther is no sense in getting pissed off at someone that 1. you dont know. 2. you dont have to live with or talk to everyday. if you want to put a smaller pulley do it. if you dont want to go any lower a 2.7 then dont. just dont have a f*cking coronary about some else car that you dont even make the damn payment on. thats just my opinion dont hate me
