Should = about 265 hp, and 240 tq. With a good tune I think this is pretty good numbers. Add some great traction upgrades and possible better after cooler mods and your looking at real low 13s. Would guess about 13.2-13.5 1/4th.

so is the STG2 tune no good. i was talking to a guy that has it and he said it idles bad and lots of soot in the exhaust, like ALOT of soot. was this all fixed with the new calibrations?

It is a good tune if you only have the stage II. The stage II reflash just gives 500 more rpm availability before hitting rev limit. It also tunes considering you just have stage II. It sets the computer up to handle a smaller pulley and bigger injectors in which you get in the kit. You could install stage II and just use HP tunners I believe. I think hp tunners can give you a higher rev limit and also tune the car for your set up. Either way, I think its much safer to get the Stage II reflash. Its just meant to be.

Edit Post: Now if you have other mods like CAI, exhaust, smaller then the 3" pulley and manifold/headers I think a Hp tune after the GM reflash would be ideal. Either way you should not have any problems with a stage II reflash even with other mods.
