HP Tuner and Larger Injectors

Does the HP tuner software compensate for larger injectors or would i have to remap the whole fuel map in a dyno with a wide band??

I am interested in some features of the software...but right now my engine is stock and i would like to get larger injectors and a 2.8" pulley and colder plugs, then use the HP Tuner software to bump up the limiter and fine tune timing and fuel.

If i get injectors that are 20% larger for example...can i just take 20% fuel out at idle and part throttle and run at 100% the rest of the time?? I am not new at Tuning...just new at HP Tuners so if anyone knows that would be awesome.

Bascially there is a MAP that is called IFR vs VAC.

IFR = Injector Flow Rate
VAC = Vacuum

You set your IFR in relation to your vacuum (or boost).

I have put 42# injectors and changed that MAP to up the flow rate. From there the ECU is able to adjust the fueling for WOT, cruising around town ect.

You can monitor your LTFT and if they are really high or low you can have a good idea that your IFR is off. For this you don't need a wideband you can use the stock narrow band.

All this said you need to have a Wideband to get the best reading for WOT saftey. If you dial in your LTFT's close to 0 chances are that the WOT/Power Enrichment mode is also safe. But if you go lean and that results in engine failure it's really your fault.

I am aiming to get my PE levels as close to 14.7 without getting knock. You can run rich to be SAFE but that also costs you power.
