Right now I am completely stock(with mods on the way). I was wondering what power numbers could I get with just HP tuners? I have a 2006 SS S/C.

 

If you search, I think Steeda (supporting vendor) tuned a stock cobalt a pulled like 230ish whp out of it. The gains were nice considering the car was stock.

 

just looking over the stock file theres a number of areas for improvement, especially in the way of gas mileage

 

Gas Mileage FTL! You can adjust a few settings, like Boost limits, torque management, And Spark/fuel, but that's about all stock. You don't need more RPM's on those stock injectors.

 

Car are always under-tuned from the factory for reliability and driveability, I'd like to see a good writeup of what somebody did with hptuners on a stock cobalt ss. Or even throwing an intake/exhaust setup and tuning for those adjustments.

 

I'm tuned my stock ss/sc, well has magnaflow catback and airbox mod. Definately a nice gain to have and IDC is safe to 7k RPM on stock settings. I was able to pull 1/2 - 1 full car on my roommates '04 RL after I tuned it stock. Not bad at all for now engine mods.
