HPT - Tuning Issues?
so i think i've been VE tuning wrong. Well i don't want to say wrong, it's just my graph looks really choppy. I've read many different ways to VE tune. I've been doing the one where you set MAF to fail, paste high octane table to the low octane table, then log stft+ltft. Take that log go to your VE and and hit paste special add, whatever numbers from the log are positive i just subtract double. Another way i've heard of was to disable your LTFT and log your STFT. Go to VE table paste special %, do another log then paste special half %. What ways do you guys suggest i should for the LSJ?
here is a pic of my graph, the car runs great and has good afr's but i know these "hills" and "dips" aren't good.
Mods:
-Harrop Supercharger
-2.8" pulley
-80* injectors
-stock TB
-TB Spacer
-SC-Intake spacer
-ZZP 3" Intake w/ K&N filter

Really thats not that bad, even the stock table isnt much more smooth than that, have you used the smooth selection feature, that will correct some of that?
If you have the map-map switchover point set at 500rpm like most your never even really using the map, stock the cars have the switchover point at 3500 rpm, so theres a blend of map and maf used to that rpm then MAF runs the show above that
Some don't even bother to change map at all beyond the stock values. I'd say you have done everything you need to, now get your MAF table dialed in as best you can

o ok, yeah i've heard that. This is mainly to tune in case of maf failure. Now how exactly do you tune the maf? I already made the histo for it, just curious on how its exactly done.
