Hypothetical Question (Pulley Size)

Okay, first of all, this is just for fun

What would happen if we were to put on a 1 inch pulley or smaller

this is of course ignoring that we would blow up our motor and over-rev the supercharger

If we had a bullet proof engine, what kind of PSI and HP/TQ would we be making?

I've seen a lot of posts saying that for every .1 smaller, you get 10HP

so, for a 1 inch pulley, you would be getting a 200HP increase from Stage 2

Well, at 7k rpm on the engine, the s/c would be around 39300 rpm...that's a lot of heat.

You would cause damage to your supercharger as well as over boost your motor to the point of causing internal damage.

Indeed...but on the plus side, you'd be getting 10+psi at idle.

The blower would lose inefficiency, and I don't think it would be capable of the boost. It would do nothing but create a whole bunch of heat.
