alright im pissed ive been outside for 2 hours.. im puttin my new exhaust and downpipe on ....the exhasut isnt a probelm but i cannot get the damn stock downpipe off.. None of the bolts or anything will come loose.. has anyone had a probelm.. how the hell did you get it off?

UPDATE WOO FINALLY GOT DONE ABOUT AN HOUR AGO taking off the stock downpipe was the biggest PITA i ever had to do.. but wow i cant believe how good this system sounds.. its the magnaflow cat-back with a zzp catted DP and stock manifold.. i'll get a vid tmrw.. it's too dark out right now... but for anyone getting an exhaust i highly recommend this one!

My bolts where rusted in on mine I just soaked them in wd-40 and used a lot of cuss words when trying to get it off. Like an hour later I got it off.

Deep Creep, and a breaker bar. You could possibly hit it with some heat to expand the holes but be very careful. If not drive it to a garage with just the down pipe on, and get ready for some jokes to be tossed youre way !!!!

Dude if you dont need the damn stock downpipe just sawzall that biotch right off there. JK what you should really do is spray with the PB blaster let it sit, then after it has penetrated, heat those suckers up with a small torch and they should crank right off!!!

wd-40 to the bolts and let them sit for 10 mins. then take a breaker bar to them. If that fails then cut the bolts off and get new ones at the hardware store. I ha one new bolt on the header/dp flange as a stock one stripped off the threads on removal.

Dude. I went at this all day when I was taking off my stock downpipe. From ******* 10am to 7pm. I even rode around town with my downpipe unbolted from the resonator to get the things I needed. You just have to keep trying. YES it is VERY VERY VERY frustrating, but then will eventually come loose.
