so. rebel is going to buy 2.2 blanks. have them drilled. get the lsj key from gm. have it set an welded in exactly the same as the stockers?

why do i find this a bit absurd.

I dunno what they plan to do.... they mentioned it, so it's my job to post it and get everyone to blow it out of proportion and get all hyped, only to have it never happen and leave everyone with a beach for a vag.

**** people..... it's no more expensive to get a set of custom blanks ground at a local machine shop, then custom ground else where... then we can all go around saying 'they custom yo'

the problem being is people want the biggest and baddest whatever. well. none truer then the cam world. the v8 guys are really bad about this ****. most people won't sit down and spec out a cam to their exact needs. they want someone else to do it for them. i fell into this trap a couple times on a couple different cars.

most people are not going to spend a grand or more to run a set of cams.

yea, I've been thinking about getting cams from a toyota cavalier. I hear those are the 300hp jdm ecotec ones.

great. set aside a thousand bucks. look at it. long and hard.

you can have any grind you want made for any engine. you just have to understand what you're dealing with first.
