iat2 numbers.. need help and input
no im talkin about the ouside temp being 100. But now that you mention it i may check out my iat 1 and see where im at. But the last temps you posted seem a little off for someone running the cooling mods you are maybe youre pump it going weak just not dead yet
Not to steal a thread but i was looking at youre other thead very interesting results kinda curious what youre gonna queeze out of it with the final product are you going to try and sell kits or something
It's good. I'm not bullshitting when I say it completely gets rid of any heatsoak you can put dualpass, big radiators all that **** it doesn't matter you do back to back pulls and the traditional setup will heatsoak!!! Mine doesn't
I basicly take your stock manifold chop it up and redesign it to my specifications and much more. I also upgrade the PCV system to allow you to run some real boost!

okay stupid question, but im young and need some guidance.. Last night i installed my ottp h/e. im gms2 with a 2.95 pulley... when i hit it hard all the time my coolant readout reads 180 while driving and up to 210 if i sit there and idle.. now with the ottp h/e, the temp goes up alot faster and if im cruising it reads like 185... does this have anything to do with iat1 or iat2? How can i measure these temps?
any help appreciated guys! like i said im young and a little confused

If you were cruising around those temps are high, but if you were doing hard pulls those temps are average or low
.
The rule of thumb I use is if your cruising around your iat2's should be roughly 20-30 degrees above ambient or iat1. If your doing a hard pull then it varies depending on your mods and car etc.

on a side note we just made an air to air setup for the sc car and the temps went from 96 iat1 to 109 iat2 back to back runs full pulls through 3rd gear
hptuners. or an interceptor gauge. i just got one and love it

i dont have the pics on my phone to send to sts but his wife has them so when she gets home he wil be able to post up....
both setups are great, his car has the air to water that he made and mine has the air to air...
