Ideal water temps
Ideal water temps
i run 160-170F max during a warm up cruise, 180 normal hard running and might see 200 if I'm pushing on a hot day. After a long Wot climb it will girgle or pop a little when I let off but throttle response and low end grunt is spot on. I run two fans on all the time and rely on a 180 factory location thermostat. Is that too cold?

My car has always run in the 170's from the day I purchased it new.
After a hard pull temps may rise in the 180's but I've never hit higher than that.

180 is not to cool lengenfelter sells a 160 for the lsj i will be switching to that the warmer the engine runs the less the fule it needs(emissions) the cooler it runs the more fuel in needs also removing the engine oil cooler and putting it out front will help reduce engine temps and add capacity to the system
