if i go with a 2.6 pulley...
if i go with a 2.6 pulley...
and 60 lb injectors uinstead of the stage 2 3.0 and 40 lb injectors, will gm stilll flash the ecu ? i never put stage 2 in yet i bought it but i want a smaller pulley and bihher injectors, should i ever have bought the stage 2? what else do i need with the small pulley and injectors?
if you are planing on doing 60's and a 2.6 you will be wasting your money on the gm stage 2 kit because the flash will not work the 60's you will need to get ahold of someone that can tune your ecu with hptunners. you will also want to get the supporting cooling mods
...... personaly if you want reliablity stick with gm stage 2 with a 2.9 pulley and call it a day because you are risking the potential of blowing the motor there is an issue with the #4 cylinder.... just remember you have to pay to play

Well, recently there has been a discovery/thought/idea that when you up it to 60 lb injectors, you are causing the pressure in the fuel rail to be uneven. This causes the #4 cylinder to run lean, and pop. Its not just about warranty when you get down into the 60's and sub 2.7" pulley. Its more about if you want to have your number 4 not suck.
Build your own kit is less expensive, just get 60lb injectors, and what ever pulley you want, and you need a custom hp tuners tune, and if your going with a pulley from 2.8 and down, if would be smart yo get some cooling mods, or you could have problems.
