Question i'm a tuning noob

when u tune with hp tuners do u have to be on a dyno or is this somthing u could do in your drive way?.

You don't need to be on a dyno, you can do it anywhere. In your drive way etc. All you need is a laptop and the software and the hardware. Drive around, record you data, and go from there.

so if i put in 60's and a smaller pulley i should be able to tune it myself with hptuners and a loptop?.

Alot of people that know how to tune with other things prior to using hptuners and have some problems. It's not the easiest thing from what I've read and there's alot of things you can do to mess the car up as well as help the car, so if you're not pretty experienced with car's and sure you're ready to do it, I wouldn't.

Most of us learnt using the forums on the hptuners website. This is a good place to read around in and see if you're up for the challenge. If not I'm sure there's someone out there that would be willing to do the tuning for you.

you can do it your self sure if you have the knowledge.. I were going to try and do my own i would save the stock tune.... and then save differnt versions of it as you learn what your doing...
