I turned up the boost each run. For some reason when i scaned it the #s got cut off around the edge.

 

how much boost on the 342 run?

 

those dyno sheets really make me want to get my car boosted again

 

I think that was like 17psi

 

yeah started out on 17 and worked up to 23 incrementally.

Great setup and info in this thread, can you list all the parts you used that are needed to make a kit from scratch, you have nailed the majority but what about some other details such as how you tapped oil lines, water lines, and recommend some people to buy from.

INFE happen to have a close pic on where/how the alt was welded thats about the last think i need to figure out to be ready when i get my kit this week

 

Nah I don't have a close pic of it. You just weld the inner part to the outer so the pulley moves as one.

i will be getting an AEM truboost when i can afford it. just got a Hallman Pro RX manual controller for now

 

He aem truboost works great for me and it was pretty cheep as far as those go.

 

what kind of gas did you run when you dynoed?

 

it was half 93 octane and half 100 octane the only reason i did that was to make it alittle safer i tuned it for 93 octane. So it will make the same power on 93 just not as safely untill i get a meth kit for the car. i dont get any knock at 23psi on stright 93 eather.

you can get away with straight pump gas, but meth injection or a little race gas never hurts
I dunno my stock motor was a freak that thing took whatever I threw at it on only pump gas

 

lol um good stuff to know. probably meth would be more convinient for me
