I need more parts to show up! I suppose I can take some pics this weekend when I'm working on it. That should keep the thread at least somewhat entertaining lol

Every car I've been in that had them seemed to hook really well for a street tire, so I'm hopeful that they work well on my setup! I mean you can only expect so much traction lol

Progress from this weekend. Didn't do a whole lot, but got some little things accomplished.
Trimmed the frame support beam to match the other car the intercooler came from. Core is 28x10x3.5" plus end tanks so I needed the room.

I then installed my new ZZP aluminum oversized radiator. In our mass cleaning spree last weekend I forgot to take the rubber grommets off of the bottom of my broken radiator before I threw it away, so I needed a solution. Searched around the shop and in true Taylor fashion had to rig something up lol, I found my friends stock ignition coils from his Evo and got an idea. Disassembled them and harvested these rubber pieces that happened to be the perfect size for the radiator posts and the brackets. They fit tighter than stock.

Then my friend and I welded tabs up to mount the intercooler.

Then I test fit the bumper, and there was plenty of room. Even enough to leave the fog lights in when the charge piping is connected. Time for a new plate!

That is about all that will get done until after Christmas. I'm going on vacation Wednesday

I don't know where I'd cut it without making it look like a hackjob, and then I'd have to repaint it (which isn't a big deal). I think I'll leave it alone, and say its a new H/E for my SC, it will go nicely with my under engine charge piping

There should be enough airflow since it sits so far behind the bumper, so it will stay intact
Also, shipping your trans after work today! As long as it meets their weight requirement lol.

And I agree, don't hack your bumper apart
