Been cleaning up wiring lol taking my fuse box back out and making new mounts for it to tuck my ECU under it. Cutting and soldering stuff and relocating stuff, it takes time! That will be my project for tomorrow and Sunday, not sure how much I'll get to work on the car though. Last night I test fit the intake mani and cold side charge piping and peeled some loom off and wrapped some more wires. I was only there about an hour though.

Lol I just figure since I have the time I might as well clean it up. Have a solid 3 months of winter left probably, so I have to do something to pass the time. My friend's have some really clean bays (shaved, repainted, tucked) and I like the look, but I don't plan to take it that far, so just a little here and a little there will go a long ways for looks for me.

B&G springs with the fronts trimmed because they had a little "ass drag". It is also on 235/45 tires so the sidewall is pretty tall. Pedders coilovers this year though

Your guys' bays don't bother me because they are not mine lol. It's only when I look at mine that I pick out all the flaws. On the TVS setup it looked good at first, then I found stuff that I hated and wanted gone. I HATED the IC filler neck and hoses, and it drove me nuts. I'm sure I won't be happy when I am finished this time too, its a sickness

Worked on the car a bit Saturday. Successfully completed moving my ECU under the fuse box
Still need to clean up some wiring and route a few things differently, but it's done. I ended up using the factory bracket that holds the fuse box and ECU, but I cut it way down. Only used about 25% of the metal. Made a few mounting tabs that hold the ECU in towards the back where you can't see them, and made a little plate to cover everything up. I have the intake mani and charge piping mocked up, but don't worry it isn't staying red.
Here's how the fuse box/ECU area is looking so far.

Here it is without the cover plate. You can see a little bit of the ECU.

Nope, its Jason's old setup that came with the other car along with this motor lol, then I swapped the 2 motors around. His name on here was either Nastyfasttnx or SaturnRedline07, I don't remember which screen name went with which forum. ZZP built the intercooler and turbo kit specifically for the car he had. The intercooler is huge because he had an RKsport bumper (which I still have on the gray car i got from him) and the charge piping routes under the engine. I have the intercooler mounted as you can see a few pages back and the cold side all fits perfectly. When my manifold gets back I'll run the hot side as well. Then I will get it running, then pull things off for paint.

There is nothing to fix! lol I've been driving the car for over 2 months now, since right after I swapped the motor from the red car into it. All my M62 races I posted this fall were in his old car. Its perfectly functional and in pretty decent shape. My only complaint is the quality of the paint job. It wasn't wrecked hardly at all, like next to nothing...but don't tell that to his insurance company lol
