Ingalls ETD adjustment
Ingalls ETD adjustment
I just installed my ETD that i got from a friend for 60 bucks... Yeah i know... He is getting rid of his redline... I just needed to know if it is normal for the car to shake alot after installing it... where to most of you guys have it set for normal driving..
i have it on the tightest setting. and yea it's normal. try putting it to 14 or 15mm if you want less shaking, and tighten it up more for the track. i think mine is set at 10mm. i don't even feel it anymore along with the tranny mounts. got used to it.
as long as you do your adjustments properly it wont bend. unless you try to launch like an idiot.
just make sure that when you are adjusting, you unbolt the rear bolt holding the shock to the bracket.... adjust the damping, then readjust the shaft length to line back up with the hole, before rebolting it in there.
this is 90% of the cause of bent brackets IMO.
