Injector Connector???
Injector Connector???
So i've decided the time is coming for me to upgrade to some 60# injectors. What i wanted to know is what type of connector is on the stock injector harness: EV1 or EV6??
Has anyone found any 60's that fit the stock harness?? I'm trying to avoid having to buy a new harness if its not necessary. I found some 60's on ebay that are EV1. Also, they sell small EV1 to EV6 adapters for about the price of a harness, but I would imagine a harness would just be smarter since its all one piece instead of bits and pieces.

The search button is your friend. I've posted this info more times than I can count, but here you go again:
The stock LSJ harness is a Delphi/Multec connector type. The highest flow injectors I've ever found with this type is the stage1/stage2 GM injectors at 42.5 #'s.
The EV1/Bosch style is what the vast majority of aftermarket injectors and harnesses are for as both have been out for a long time and used in lots of vehicles, but no manufacturer currently uses an EV1 style connector.
The EV6 style connector is used in the MAJORITY of domestic vehicles, and is also called the UScar connector. Because so many new vehicles are using this connector, more and more products are becoming available daily. AFAIK, I am the only one using an EV6 harness and connectors, and I would be more than happy to make a harness for you in this style as it is FAR cleaner and easier to play with if you're doing a lot of work in the area, but you would need to have a tuner who can properly program things to work with them (which you'd probably want regardless).
