I couldn't stop slowing down and downshifting to 2nd and hitting it. It actually sounds like it's supercharged now

You can also see where I used a grinder to shave down the bracket on the hood.
I did not use the rubber bushing supplied by Injen. It gave better clearance in the fender without it. Not using it may have affected the clearance under the hood though.

I never noticed that mine hits the hood. But jsut below where that ground screw is that you have capped beware cause i noticed mine rubs the frame right there and it can work a hole into the intake. There doesn't seem to be any way to turn the pipe to not get it rub so i just put some rubber tubing between the intake and the frame.
Mine also rubs really bad on the hood prop, I'm gonna call them tomorrow and see if there is anything they can do to replace it or something so they don't wear a hole through the tube. If anyone else is having this problem you should post it in here because I'm going to refer to this website and this thread so they can see that it's quite a common problem.

Thanks for the heads-up on some fittment issues. My intake should arrive Friday or Sat. and I will attemp to find a way to work around those issues. Possibly enlongating the slot for the mounting screw?, seems like that may lower the tube enough to clear the hood. As long as it does not begin to hit the inner fender. The ground stud you could just cut flush with the nut.
