Install and Tune

So I called a shop today to find out how much getting a ZZP CAI install and tuned would be I was quoted 750, this seems ******* high. Anyone else think this is too high?

Basically a hundred dollars an hour plus the cost of the tune. Are you having a dyno tune or just a street tune? I called around to see what a dyno tune would cost after I got mine just to see what I saved and the few I called quoted between $500-$675 so that is probably about right.

I assume dyno tune since on there website it said they tune on a "Dyno Dynamics 2 Wheel Rolling Road" Im just worried what the price would of been for like a stage 3 kit install like 2k

intakes are very easy to install, do it yourself. You don't necessarily need a tune right away, get some more mods before you tune to make it worth it.

yes and no, I ran an aftermarket 3" intake on the GMs2 tune for a while with no problems. You will definitely benefit from a tune but if you plan on some more mods like injectors/pulley later on then it would make sense to tune it all at once for that.
