the fitment is EXACT; the OP must of some how got a defective one, or seriously installed incorrectly.

I went w/ a cobra, but if I were to do it again. This is the h/e you guys need to buy. Excellent h/e ZZP, keep it up.

Hardware store is your friend

----------

If your running a h/e in-line w/ the stock h/e, turn the IC pump on, and take off the breather bolt on the stock H/E. Allow it to bubble, until fluids begin to flow. And then tighten back down

While the pump is on:
If your running an option b w/ a dual pass. remove the connecting hose routing from the exiting points of the dual pass(the top and bottom nipples), that is attached to the T fitting attached to the overflow line. Aim upwards until you see bubbles, and it should begin to flow. Quickly connect and secure to the T fitting. (thats just really confusing... maybe a how to is in order lol...)

Thanks for the info on purging air out of the system....yes a how-to for installing this in particular would be great....

Hardware store? Well I bought this to be a complete kit I am VERY dissapointed in that.

well i am definitely not mechanically disinclined i installed it correctly but i just could not get the brackets to agree with each other and the fascia holes... i should have installed the little black push pins first and then the crash bar bolts but that didnt occur to me until after i had already messed with the crash bar brackets... they were within a half inch of fitting but i just finally got pissed off at dealin with them, mainly because i was pissed off about the crack in my stock h/e, and decided the hell with em and took the cutoff wheel to em.. i think i might try to fix the lean that i managed to achieve during installation this weekend.. but overall this is a ****** sweet h/e.

I know this is old but this does fit the bill....does one HAVE to remove the front bumber to install this? I am helping on another intstall and removing the front bumper isn't that bad but just looking to save a step. Also if there's detailed instructions in another thread or online let me know.

I have installed these without removing the bumper cover. It's a little tricky, but saves a lot of time.

thank smthomas. I will check it out. Did ZZP ever get actual instructions out for this? I think the main thing is making sure the lines are done right...i.e return and input.

What do you need documentation for. you take the bumper off, line it up, bolt it in, swap some hoses and you're done. it's not rocket science...op sorry to say but it looks like you did something wrong, i know i don't have a balt but zzp's lined up fine on my car...very nice piece..i'd suggest straightening the fins with a knife or something.

Who is that post for? I haven't even put it on or posted up pics yet? Big thing for me is making sure there are no leaks, and no I won't want to add in the extra headache of removing the bumper if I dont have to. As for moving the plumbing does it matter if the new one runs from the ZZP intercooler to the existing or should the existing hose run from the existing? I.E input or output?

Any reason why you are being condescending and rude about it?

I didn't know it was there, I ordered mine almost a year ago. Yes it is better in an image. The vendor should've sent instructions eitherway. You can disagree with me if you want but if you spend 200 plus on a product including shipping...ya...should get something.....

lol why would they send instructions when all you'd ever need is on their website, which if you ordered the piece, you have access to *shrugs*

No matter what, everything should be sent with instructions. Regardless that YOU might be able to go and install it, someone else might not...

Having someone go to the website for instructions seems like a lazy thing to do.

Hey man once again there is an attitude in your post. This is supposed to be community here. None of this, 'oh that is a stupid question garbage'

When I originally ordered I don't believe they had the schematic on the website or perhaps I missed it when ordering. And when I asked ZZP they came back with 'Oh there's a How To for the bumper removal and this is similar to other H/E installs that have How To's on the forum' That all may be true but another member went to the trouble of doing this How-To and the seller should up their customer service and put directions together. In fact I didn't even get the mounting bolts in the initial shipment, they were sent after the fact when I tried to install the thing, which added to the confusion. Imagine if DC, or GM said oh to install that is easy here's a quick schematic and go ask another owner how they installed theirs! LoL that wouldn't fly. Not to mention places such as Crateengine Depot even have instructions for some products available as downloads so I do look for them and have referenced them in the past.

You remind me of a Co-Worker I used to have. He had this oh this is easy why don't you go do it attitude. Turns out he didn't know much and he didn't last long on the job....

Exactly man! Can I get through this....ya I can, but it is an expensive car for me and I just went and snagged a Chilton book to make sure. Glad somebody else sees my point.
