Installing GM Stage Two

Hey guys, I need your thoughts on something.

I am installing Stage 2 (injectors, pulley, belt) on my SS SC on Thursday myself, then driving her approximately 26km to have my local GM dealership update my tune. Do you think it will be a problem driving the car that far on the existing tune?

Thanks.

I know someone on here drove off the GM lot after getting stage 2 installed without the tune, from what I know he got there, and back fine, but I don't know the distance

Stay out of boost. It even says in the instructions to "carefully" drive to your nearest GM dealer for the pcm flash. You will be fine /thread.

You could always just install the injectors in their parking lot ......get the tune then drive home and put the pulley on . That way you don't have to worry about driving it .

I had mine installed at the dealer and they didn't flash the PCM. Long story short, I went WOT a few times before realizing they didn't flash the PCM. My car is fine even after all that.
