I tapped into my fuse box on the passenger side, I used the H-vac 10amp fuse, works like a charm.

I could take pics when i get off work if you would like.

Its also very easy to hide, plus you have to use a fuse that only gets power when the key is turned on.

Use a mini add-a-circuit from the local parts store and tap it into the black box under the hood. Easy day and easily removeable too if needed. If look in my gallery you can see where I mounted most of my stuff.

Why not wire it through your fuse box inside your car?

Nevermind, I bet your kit is different then mine.

nope, probably the same- i have a fusebox by passenger side as well...problem is, i dont want to run another wire through the firewall if there is a perfectly good ignition source in the fusebox under the hood.

Nope your is different then mine, I have to run mine from the cab to under the hood because i have a controller for mine that is mounted in the cab and everything is ran off that. But there is a boot that goes through your firewall, its what i ran my map sensor wire through. But for you I agree just to keep it all under the hood.

Either a AIS underhood base kit or a Devils own underhood base kit.
