Cost increase for Stage 5 is because of the porting of the supercharger.

I am running a billetflow 2.7" pulley and it clears the snout just fine!

 

so u didnt have to replace you snout with the 2.7 ?

 

Nope, It fits over the stock snout easily

 

Couple of my friends are doing like a mild to wild thing. One of my friends is getting 60lbs injectors but with a 2.5 pulley and i am getting the 45lbs with a 2.7 .

 

for a tech at our dealership to purcahse a tech2 it's around 2500 bux......probably more then that if you try buying one off someone outside the dealer

 

I think they are at least a couple thousand dollars maybe more.

One of the guys from Intense said that you should be using the 60lb injectors with a 2.7" pulley.

I was going to use the ZZP or billet flow pulley 2.7 or 2.8 but on intense website it states

**** we recommend colder spark plugs, 42.5 lbs/hr fuel injectors and custom supercharger snout machining with the 2.70" and 2.60" supercharger pulley sizes

All I can say is that they sell the 60lb injectors with the stage 4 kit and the 2.7" pulley. They must do this for a reason

 

I wrote an email to Intense a couple days ago inquiting about their Stage 5 tune and injectors and how small of a pully and this is what I got....

if you need a tech 2 i can get them but its gonna cost you 1800 + shiping it is used and dose not come with case but u can get a new one with the CANdi module for like 3800 shipped

We had some older wording on our pulley pages, but that has been fixed. We recommend down to a 2.8 pulley with the 42.5s and a 6500 redline (stock). If you upgrade the computer with higher redlines you should move up to a 2.9 pulley or install 60lb injectors with 2.8 and below.

 

i don't know why you say you cannot run a 2.7 w/42 pounders i am doing a 2.8 right now with the stage 2 injectors and i am reading around 11.7 a/f at full load you should have more than enough room to run a 2.7 unless i am just lucky or something.
