Intense PCM instead of Reflash?

On my wishlist.. I want to put a 2.85 pulley on 42s and GM stage 2 belt w/ NGK colder plugs.
I heard you can't do lower then 2.9 on 42s?

I also want to know if i can do all of this and instead of a reflash can i just get an intense PCM and select my options?
Thanks alot

Why not? The GM S2 tunes runs so bloddy rich up top that there is no way you would lean out that engine. Don't get the Intense PCM - that my friend is what blows up LSJ's!!

wow holy crap... then what? hp tuners??? I don't know crap about tuning. I'd hate to do it myself. Does the intense racing pcm need to be tuned after installation? I want to do a full exhaust and get the 02 sensor disabled

I ran the Intense tune hard for a year with a 2.7" and had no problems. I think I was one of the lucky ones though. When Mase data logged my car we found TONS of knock and it was really lean in the top end. Mase retuned it for me and I rarely see knock anymore and my A/F ratios are much nicer.

Your best bet is to buy 60lbers instead of the 42's so you have room to drop a pulley size if you want to in the future. As for tuning, find someone local who you can trust and have them do the tune specifically for your car. Canned tunes just don't work properly for everyone.
