I have Stage 4, it's amazing. The car runs smoother and quieter than stock. But when you hit the gas it unleashes a monster inside, haha

^^^ Curious about the same. I want the 2.5 pulley but don't know what it does over time, this is my daily driver.

Get the stage 4 with 2.5" pulley (19psi). This is really the way to go. Otherwise I can't tell you until Monday. But otherwise the old Stage 3 really put the SS in my cobalt. Don't think about it, just buy it

Exactly. Plus, the ported supercharger helps with the efficiency.

that's right, although the actual safe running limit of the charger is 16k it begins to produce less power after 14k do to excessive gain in heat

the only difference between 4 and 5 is a smaller pulley (you can ask for the 2.5 instead of the 2.7 in stage 4) and the ported blower. but if you want yours back its going to take 3-4 weeks unless you want a different one already ported. so im skipping that.

In case you missed it in the other thread, the blower is spinning at about 16800 rpm at 7k w/2.5".

9mpg, go go go!

go with stage 4

if you get the charger ported, you'll need the intake manifold opened up to receive maximum benefits from the ported charger

I am purely speculating, but I would be willing to bet the PCM flash between stage 4 and 5 will be different to allow for the added boost the smaller pulley for stage 5.

We spoke with eaton engineers about that exact topic and thier comment was as follows,
"yes, you are spinning it pretty hard but at such short intervals, nothing will be compomised. Now if you go run extended high rpm operation like a road course or top speed race at a continuous high rpm, then problems will happen."

Hope that helps

as far as the guys/girls with the stage 5 or running the 19psi however you achived it....is the engine good for the power? i know id need a clutch...
1.ive come across a thread or 2 about lean codes...anyone getting that code or any code with the stage 4 or 5 if so what is it.

2. MAF translator i noticed didnt come with this kit...not needed cuz the PCM upgrade or would it be a good idea to get?

3. 1 favor id love from someone or a few people is maybe a video clip of a second gear drive by WOT but then again i wont be picky i just wanna kind of see the power before i buy....it would be great if someone could thanks in advanced...everyones so helpful its greatly appreciated buy us newbies...

4. as far as the dyno intese shows do they have intake and exhaust on the cars? or thats some more added power to the numbers
