Who runs nitrous?

Just wondering how many people run nitrous with the sc. I know it would have to be a dry efi kit, but what one is the best. How big of a shot? I cant see going over 75 shot without putting forged pistons in. I will be doing the gm stage II and then I will add Nitrous.

Wet? Are your running it before the s/c or after. I heard that running gasoline through a s/c will eat away all the seals.. What do you run in the quarter? that is if you run it.

Yep, wet. The rumor is totally false. Before the s/c is fine. My blower has been on and off enough that it get's new seals anyway. No signs of damage or corrosion on any one of the inspections. Well I have only had one run at the track spraying, and most of the guys on here know how that ended up. With a roasted clutch. I still netted a 13.8, but then I got the clutch replaced and got sent over here to Kuwait. Sooo, I just ordered intense stage 5 and I'm gonna get it tuned to add like a 35 shot on top of that. Next is forged pistons...

Ok Ok i'm coming out the closet, i run a wet shot AFTER THE SC, used to run it before but i thought i heard extra knock in it (could have been my mind playing tricks) but since i don't anymore it has gone away. i took it to a machine shop and had a hole drilled and tapped under the blower fans i'm not sure what #shot it is because i did a custom jet setting that wasn't on the chart, i was trapping really high but the stock clutch couldn't take it but i am in the process on installing a stg 4 CM

I am currently hooking up a 75 horse shot, dry, before the charger. Now I also have the stage 2 kit (came in today), so I have the bigger injectors. I am working on getting the stage 3 calibration from GM which is calibrated for nitrous. Oh, and for the guy that was asking, a wet shot adds supplemental fuel in along with the nitrous, where the dry shot jsut adds nitrous and depends on the cars computer and injectors to give the supplemental fuel. 75 horse is about the safe limit for a dry shot on these cars.

I thought about doing that as well. How has it been working for you?

I wanted to do two nozzles on either side, kinda half way between direct port and a single nozzle.

the only problem with it is i can't turn the nozzle completely down because it rubs on the intake manifold but i'm trying to find a way around it.

Maybe thread a nut around the nozzle as a bit of a stand off. Also use locktite red if your gonna try that so it doesn't back out.

You are talking about the tip of the nozzle hitting the back of the intake right?
