not really it depends on what your mods are. Think of it this way the only power adders in the kit are the pulley. The injectors and map clamp won't really add any power unless you lean everything out to all hell. It more there to make sure everything is safe. so if you have a 3.0 pulley and intake you'd be very close to the intense kit. but the thing is he can run a better safer air fuel than you and tune the hp curve better. You'd just be at the mercy of the stock injectors. Intense kit is still the better route right now if you want to beable to keep modding and still have some tuning options. Like me I've hit a wall and can't get any exhaust or intakes or a header casue im at 243whp but my air fuel is a 13.4 which is not cool by anymeans. If i had the intense kit i could be running richer thus leaving me the option to put on my exhaust and header and go more twards 260whp.

my car is stock, i used to run a 55 shot but took it off for the winter, and he thought i sprayed on him but when we got back to the parking lot i popped my trunk and showed him it wasn't there, he was really dissappointed and so was i because i was about to buy the kit too. he said it needs to be tuned.

By tune he means just lean it out to all hell. The cars used to running a 10.3-11.6 a/f up till 5000 rpms than the stock injectors just max out. imean im not saying the kit is bad cause i might actually pick it up but the injectors and maf translator don't bring a lot to the table. Its the pully with full header back exhaust and a nice 12.1 a/f that has people at 260 wheel hp. Honestly though i can see 260 wheel being easy enough to get to but once you try going to 270 and higher i don't see it happening with out some more timming or sumthing. Basically what the gm stage 1 flash will give you. I'm on a 3.0 pully and i can see myself getting to 260 wheel easy but even if i drop to a 2.8 pully all that will happen is that my TQ will come up but hp will probly stay around the same for the most part.

you'll be able to hear it when your doing a pull (aka, the normal whine then it sounds like it dies out)...plus youll see your boost go to 17 (whatever you max out at) and it'll go back down to like 15 or less without you ever letting off the gas...

Hey Ljavy17, glad to see you like you kit. I'm thinking about getting one myself. Does your clutch slip at all? I've got Intake and Exhaust and mine doesn't slip yet with 12000kms on it. Don't wanna change out the clutch yet.

Ljavy17, please compare the power to other cars that you have driven. What would you say the pull is on par with now? Maybe an LS1 Camaro, GTO, Stage 2 SRT-4, etc? Also please give us your best guess on what your 1/4 mile might be. Do you think the intense kit is enough to cut a full second off for a time around 13.6? I know these are just guesses but I'd like to hear your thoughts. Anyone else with the intense kit please chime in too!

my friend in the rsx type s with headers intake and exhaust ran a 14.1 at the track, yesterday I raced him from a 40mph and I pulled over 4 to 5 cars on him to 120. So This car is deff capable of hitting high 12s or low 13s with this setup with DRs and motor mounts. I mean the car pulls sooo strong on 1st and 2nd gear that if you get traction in both, itll rip 12s.

I get my car back at the end of march I belive. Maybe even sooner. I already have my 2.8 supercharger pulley so as soon as I get my car back, i'm going to order the kit, put the supercharger pulley on it and then put the kit on it. That's all i'm going to be doing to the car. Well after probably a cluttch but i'm not going to be beating on the clutch that much.

13.4-13.5 at best, even with traction.
