Ya, drove it to 500 miles for breakin and just installed the kit at 750. Still haven't really beating on it. Just get into the boost a little and stuff. I drive 100miles a day for work on the E-way so it was calm driving in 5th mainly with fluctuation of throttle so I would never be at a constant speed. This SS/SC is just the daily driver. Even with the kit on I still drove it last night concervative just getting in to boost in higher gears. Figure by the end of the week I'll have about 1500miles on before the adjustable tensioner comes in. Then I'll start to really see the potential of this kit.

Your TA is awesome. I was just checking it out and love it. I'm going to stop playing with the bolt and get back to work on my TA. I'm running low elevens on a stock block and nitrous with cam and head work. I was thinking of putting a 396 with a solid cam in there. You have a really nice car.

no need to talk trash about my dad skill here man...the 13.2 track time is the best time we got from our vette with like five different driver and we smoke all the stock vette this day at the track

So how common is the belt slippage problem? Are most of you with the Intense kit having belt slippage? I'm getting the kit soon but not until I know how I'm gonna keep the belt from slipping.

I'm also wondering about knock and driveability with this kit. Is the Air/Fuel ratio safe when not at full throttle, etc? I don't wanna blow up my engine.

i got the intense kit back when it first came out.. i have that along with k&n cold air intake and a TOG header... i spin threw secound now and chirp third... i use to race srt4s and in third we would be right next to each other.. along with my buddy with a grand prix gtp that runs like 13s.. now once my tires stop spinning i just pull on them by about 2 car lengths... and that is with still haveing wheel hoop and not getting traction and now with a slipping clutch so once i get my light weight fly wheel stage 3 clutch and the rest of my 3 inch catless exhoust i have a feeling i might be able to run about 12s on the track i am going to get it dynoed and tunned with the MAF translator hoping for very close to 300 if not HP never know... any ways i would say the kit is deffently worth it aspecialy sence it is plug and play now.... Intense did a great job with it

I think engine mounts, torque braces, or slicks should be bought before any substantial HP is added. You can have all the power in the world, but without traction its useless. Im probably going to buy torque braces for mine before I buy the stage kits. Theyre cheap, and effective for putting HP to the ground. God knows the stock SS/SC doesnt do anything but hop in first gear ( and in second during rainy conditions ). I couldnt imagine how much worse it would be @ higher HP. It would probably be like driving a jack hammer down the street. A hydraulics project gone AWOL!
