so i take my car in over a month ago to get the intercooler piping ran and the downpipe made. tell me a 1000 max to have it all done. well i go in wearing my military uniform to check on things about a week later and the car hadnt moved and they said they were to busy so i said thats ok. well the next day i get a call saying its going to now cost me 2000 dollars. now isnt that kinda funny. so i said **** that blah blah well i got the dp made for 470 and now their saying the intercooler piping is gonna be 1200 because they have to relocate the throttle body. i know it dont cost that damn much to add an elbow off my delete plate. what do you guys think.

 

Sounds kindas high to me I got quoted $500 for full custom piping from a local shop on my 08 ss/tc.

 

Why dont you just buy the intercooler piping that is made already from one of our supporting vendors??

well if people would actually answer serious questions on a CAR SITE about CAR related questions i wouldnt have made a retared title that people would actually read. about the only way people read **** on here anymore is if its about some dudes gf banging the football team or something stupid like that. not talkin **** or tryin to bad mouth ss.net because i do love this site but if you ask me non car related threads should be locked or banned.

 

they just need to only have technical threads show up on the front page IMO.

back on topic, i think $1200 for piping is pretty steep. I'd look around at other shops if it were me.

 

Yea, alot of us guys that joined up early on have left. I only come on from time to time to chack my PM box.

 

Do Not pay that. Go somewhere else...that's a complete ripp off.
