Intercooler Pump failed
Intercooler Pump failed
It seems that my intercooler pump is bad. Already did a search on the forum, but I have a few questions before I get the replacement. Are the lightning/cobra intercooler pumps identicle?
This is the part number I plan on ordering: Bosch PCA 12V , 0392022002.
I want to make sure it is identical to the stock lsj pump, so I can reuse the hoses and whatnot.
Thanks
John

Just the pump ;unless you screw the clip upand yank on the harness in the install. Its a little spring clip, take a small screw driver and prise gently to remove it and release the connector.
The pump itself requires two bolts removed, use a 10 mm socket ( afair)and them transfer the rubber sleeve to the new pump and reinstall dont over/under tighten the pump bracket. I cant remember the torque value safest thing to do is use a 1/4 drive ratchet hard to crank it too tight that way....good luck.

Where I got mine, quite pleased.
Also have a local/forum member here doing rebuilds, guy has tons of experience, don't know his charges but I already know a couple people running them with no issues.
